Attorney Meagan R. King is a Partner of King & Farrell Law, and excels at working closely with clients to deliver the best results. Attorney King has represented clients on Cape Cod and the Islands throughout her career as a family law attorney after graduating from Suffolk University Law School magna cum laude. Attorney King is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and is in her third year serving as a Board Member of the Massachusetts Young Lawyer Division where she serves as the delegate for Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket counties.
Attorney King represents clients through the divorce process and resolves related matters involving child custody, parenting time, child support, and modifications.
Attorney King's career is exemplified by her strong commitment to involvement in community activities. She actively engages in local initiatives, showcasing her dedication as a member of both the Cape Cod Young Professionals (CCYP) and the Barnstable County Bar Association. Beyond these professional affiliations, she generously volunteers her time at the We Can Center, and for the Department of Children and Families.

Attorney Paul G. Farrell is a partner at King and Farrell Law, and provides superior representation in all domestic relations matters. Attorney Farrell’s practice has focused on domestic relations and civil litigation for the past forty years. Attorney Farrell graduated from Brown University (B.A.) in 1970 and received his J.D. from Suffolk University in 1973. Attorney Farrell was admitted to the Rhode Island Bar and the U.S. District Court, District of Rhode Island in 1973 and admitted to the Massachusetts Bar and U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts in 1975.
Attorney Farrell is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Barnstable Bar Association, and has been on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Probate and Family America Inn of Court. Attorney Farrell served on the Massachusetts Bar Association Bar of Delegates, was the Chairperson of the MBA Family Law section, served as President of the Barnstable County Bar Association and Vice Chairman for their Family Law Section. He has also been listed in the Best Lawyers in America and was nominated to the American Institute of Family Attorney’s 10 Best. Attorney Farrell has lectured on various family law topics and published numerous articles over the years. Some of the key lectures Attorney Farrell has delivered were the Tax Aspects of Divorce Seminar for MCLE, Child Custody and Support, and Demystifying Jurisdiction.
Ashleigh moved to Massachusetts after graduating with a degree in Administrative Studies. She has spent the last several years working on Cape Cod honing her business and management skills in family law and supporting our attorneys behind the scenes. Ashleigh is responsible for the firm's day-to-day operations and is likely the first person you will speak to when contacting our office. Her passion for helping others as well as her dynamic presence create a positive firm atmosphere and client-friendly experience.
